New England Policy Advocates (NEPA) offers consulting services to small non-profits involved in public policy advocacy and civic participation in community affairs.  We support organizations that promote equal opportunity and diversity and serve the interests of disadvantaged populations in New England.  NEPA is dedicated to supporting policies that are based on compassion and rationality, and advancing the interests of non-profits that work for social justice through professionalizing their capacities and tactics.

We believe that by offering our expertise to developing non-profits we enable grant providers to obtain the most value from their investment.  An organization seeking funds to hire a full time Public Relations staff person, for instance, might greater benefit from a training about the development of an effective advocacy campaign which is followed up with technical support and advice from NEPA’s consultants- all at the fraction of the cost of hiring full time staff.
